Consumers need fairness—and powerful energy interests must be accountable.

Years after the HB 6 scandal, Ohio consumers are still forced to pay subsidies for aging, uneconomic power plants that the competitive market is saying should close. This is projected to cost Ohioans $1 billion by the end of the decade.

Others profits from our bills.

For years, our monthly bills have been controlled by powerful energy interests: utilities, generators and suppliers, and people peddling bad deals door-to-door in the alternative supplier market. Consumers need good information to help them cut their bills right now and somebody who will fight for them at the state capitol for long-term improvements.

Protect our power bills.

The energy industry is rapidly changing and harmful air emissions create huge problems, but as we deal with those urgent challenges we need to make sure we're protecting our power bills. You need a voice at the table who will seek consumer-friendly ways to navigate the energy transition.
